It's a shame that tonight's so shitty out here in New York City, as there's something great going down. Ballers Eve, the amazing Dirty South rap radio show on East Village Radio, celebrates its fourth anniversary tonight by throwing a party at the China 1 Lounge (50 Avenue B@4th St.) DJs Kat Daddy Slim, Minski Walker, Dirrty and Sergio Vega will throw down all night with the nastiest, filthiest bangers, as they do on every week on the show. 21+, no cover, there's gonna be t-shirt giveaways! Oooh I want one!

-Or if you are more into people-watching and L Magazine presents their first ever Nightlife Awards. This is actually a real awards show, with two emcees, Michael T and Michael Formika Jones, there's presenters and performers, DJ sets by Michael Cavadias (Lily of the Valley), DJ Jess, Brendon James and Alex Malfunction of Trash, DJ Merritt of sugar babies, Antonio of glamdammit and others. Let me congratulate some Pound for Pound favorites on their much-deserved victories - rekLES for best DJ, Lauren Flax and Dimitry runner-ups for best DJs, High Voltage for best new party (and runner-up for best party!), FUN at Studio B for best party. RSVP here for free entry, get to Lotus Lounge (409 W. 14th St.), complimentary cocktails 10-11, tons of

-For those in Philly, I recommend highly hitting up the Klaxons show, which is in the basement of the Church (22nd & Chestnut). R5 Productions squeezed this one in last minuteish, an amazing chance to hear these guys in a small space. Best of all, rad dude Dave P is spinning during the night, hopefully this one will break into a dance party, just don't call it a new rave! Philly, I know you have it in you, grab your tickets in advance or grab them at the door. $15, all ages, doors at 8:30. Yeah!

-See You Next Tuesday isn't just a great name for a party, it's a great weekly in Minneapolis hosted by Jonathan Ackerman. Tonight's DJ line-up is stacked, headlined by that dude Soviet Panda, plus Mike the 2600 King, Millions Billions and Matt Englund. Man cannot live on music alone, he also needs good food and drink as well and the happy hour menu of $3 draft specials and $5 appetizers covers you on that end. Get to the Catepillar Lounge at Azia (2550 Nicollet Ave), 21+, eat, drink and be merry.

-Okay, one more time, as the Ballers Eve guys put up two sick fliers that I fucking love, so I'm doing an unprecedented double flier-ing. Call the Guiness people! China 1 Lounge (50 Ave. B@4th St.)
