Suji's Basement NYC, Hold YR Horses SF, dANCE at Arena LA and more

Okay, this one is short and sweet, as I'm off to a Hanukkah party hosted by the the Divine Miss TE. If there was a flier for it, it would be top choice. There isn't, so y'all will just have to have jealous boots that I am going to be eating many delicious latkes in less than an hour. Yeah! Sadly, tonight is the final Suji's Basement party at APT (419 W. 13th St), as the weekly calls it quits. Thankfully, Sujinho has decided to go out with a bang, as he's invited one of NYC's best DJs, Stretch Armstrong, to help send it off. Blu Jemz and Marc-Alan Grey will also help everyone say goodbye, lots of rap, baile funk, Bmore club, electro, nothing but the best. No cover, 21+, doors at 10 pm. Look forward to seeing what's next for Sujinho, sure it will be good.

-New York, it's Tuesday, therefore it's 205 Tuesdays with Justin Miller and Jacques Renault. They had one of their biggest editions of the year last week when James Murphy came through and delivered a massive set. No let-up on the special guest front, as the guys have Heidi of Get Physical taking a turn on the decks, should be a sick night of house music. Even cooler, the upstairs looks like it will be worth a look too, as Shy Child will spin all night up there. The electro rock duo is only DJing, but it should still be interesting, a good respite from the hot basement. No cover, 11pm, 21+.

-You can also make a stop at Happy Ending (302 Broome St) for its two-floor indie paradise. Upstairs, it's Disco Down, where DJ Bastard of NC-17 and special guest DJ Edward of I'm Going To Kill You spin rock music that doesn't suck, like post-punk, no wave and new wave. Hosted by Marika of Sparkle Nation, open vodka bar from 11-12, no cover, 21+.

-Downstairs, it's Six Six Sick! with Micprobes and Mike Nouveau. They're bringing in Kid Indie of Mischief and Trouble, expect anything from ghetto house to 80s slow jams, most of all expect a packed house as this one gets crowded. Another open bar from 11-12, ideal start to your night downtown.

-Girls Rule Boys Drool? If only you knew my exes (cue the laugh track). Anyway, this party from Scotty Ack and Diamond Girl is a nice option every Tuesday at Sal's (200 S. 12th), two of those up and coming Philly DJs I've been mentioning. New drink specials go into effect tonight, $2 domestic beers and $3 martinis and mixed drinks from 9-11, crazy deal there. You also get lots of great new dance music and a chance to tell everyone that Tuesdays are the new Thursdays. No cover, 21+.

-In San Fran, Rchrd Oh?! of BigStereo.net and all of the raddest parties, hosts and DJs the final Hold Yr Horses of the year tonight at Aunt Charlie's (133 Turk@Taylor) All of your favorite dance-y tracks, cool spot, good DJ, a great night to go out and avoid the weekend warriors. $3, 10-2am, 21+.

-Finally, it's time to dANCE Los Angeles, as the weekly party takes over Arena (6655 Santa Monica Blvd) tonight. I have a feeling that I will say this a lot, but this line-up looks extra killer this week. Any time Le Castle Vania is headlining, I'll probably say that. He's joined tonight in the main room by fellow Atlantan and Fuck Yesss resident DJ Treasure Fingers, plus LA's Paparazzi. In the upstairs, it's Bip Jeffington and Joaquin. Atlanta vs. LA. South vs. West. A battle for electrorockdisco respect. 2 floors, 2 bars, free parking, doors at 9:30, free before 10:30 with a flier that you can printout here.
