I wanted to do a short and sweet post, as I'm going to be in transit today. I can't think of a better 12" to discuss in that case than DJ Slugo's Taris Is Paris EP. DJ Slugo is one of the kings of the Chicago booty house/juke scene. He's dropped some of the dopest songs of the last decade and a half for such legendary labels as Dance Mania and Databass. This one came out in 1995 on Dance Mania, at the very beginning of Slugo's recorded output. "Wouldn't You Like To Be A Hoe" is a stone-cold classic, essential for anyone who wants to understand booty music. Your life is better once you've heard it. End of transmission.
