It's Friday and it's time for a stone-cold classic electro jawn. "Egypt, Egypt" is a song that you need to have in your life, a classic West Coast electro moment. Egyptian Lover was actually Greg Broussard, a producer who pretty much put LA on the electro map. His earliest releases are his finest, bringing a more experimental, more electro sound to the mix. His later ones would head more in the hip-hop direction.

-That's right, Egyptian Lover is spinning tonight in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. He's spinning, live, a legend, game over. That's not all, one of the best current electro crews, In Flagranti, are spinning before the man. I mean, this is real serious. Hello, Nurse! should be amazing, get to Studio B (259 Banker St.)

-It's Dance Your Ass Off Friday, LA. Another amazing party going down tonight, as Peter Bjorn and John are spinning as a part of Blow Up LA

DANCEYER

-LA's finest joins up with the King of the South, DJ DJ Dylan, in the ATL. It goes down at The Mark (79 Poplar St.), this should be real dope.

-White Lightning at Home Sweet Home (131 Chrystie St.) with Dreamburger and guest DJ Dev of Test Icicles

-A new party in the LES jumps off tonight, as The Pull out Method hits Club Midway (Ave. B and 3rd). Two bands, The Frontier Brothers and Ashford Breaks, and two DJs, including my bol Elliot a.k.a. DJ Young Elz. The Pull Out Method all about booze and bands, i.e. it'll be good.

-More Franki Chan in Vancouver, this time with MyGayHusband, Tyler Fedchuk and Tony K. The Columbia (312 Columbia St.) tonight.
