G-d have mercy to those of you on the East Coast suffering through this heat wave, i.e. summer on the East Coast. I want to continue our impromptu woman's week here at Pound for Pound, which gives me a chance to finally jump back into freestyle music. Mind you, this isn't like bass music's version of riot grrl or Lilith Fair; there were lots of important male performers. But, the ladies were the ones who really made the genre and took it briefly in the mainstream.
